Santa Ana, CA – Motorcyclist Dead, Two Hospitalized After Vehicle Wreck on I-605 at South St
Santa Ana, CA (June 25, 2023) – On Saturday morning, two vehicles collided on I-605 near Lakewood, leaving a motorcyclist dead and sending two others to the hospital.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at 3:20 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway, north of South Street. A county fire department dispatcher said paramedics were called to the area around 3:20 a.m. The biker was declared dead at the scene, and two individuals were taken to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
The vehicle’s driver apparently hit the motorcyclist, causing a rollover wreck, though officers are still investigating.
