California’s Rate of Car Crashes

Considering that the vast majority of commuters in the Golden State rely on their own vehicles to get from one place to another, it should come as no surprise that traffic incidents happen every day across the state. Furthermore, California is one of the most dangerous states to drive in, with over 27 million registered vehicles. Every day, commuting times and traffic delays increase because the roads are so jammed with vehicles.

There is a high probability that California drivers will be engaged in a car crash. However, regardless of how prevalent accidents are, nobody ever plans on being in one. Drivers may be able to lower their overall risk by learning about the most prevalent accident causes.

Fortunately, almost all of these dangers can be avoided if motorists take extra precautions. Every driver has a duty to those on the road to avoid causing them harm by following the rules of the road and operating their vehicle safely and responsibly. When an accident happens, it is usually because the driver breached this duty of care, and the negligent motorist may be held liable for various damages.
