Anaheim, CA – Four-Vehicle Collision Injures Several on 5 Fwy
Anaheim, CA (April 20, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a four-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Anaheim on Wednesday afternoon, April 20.
According to California Highway Patrol officials, the accident happened at 3:30 p.m. on the 5 Freeway around the area of Brookhurst Street and La Palma Avenue. Four vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several people sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area until approximately 4:30 p.m. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
