We offer our sincere condolences to the deceased victim’s family.

Our thoughts are also with the other victims injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.

Fatal DUI Accidents in California

Driving while impaired is extraordinarily negligent behavior. Drinking alcohol or using other drugs impairs one’s decision-making ability, decreases reaction times, and negatively affects all senses. When drivers are engaging in negligent and risky behaviors such as drinking and driving, the chance of a serious accident increases dramatically. In California, it is illegal for any person to operate a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08% or higher, if the person is 21 years old or older, or 0.01% if the person is under 21 years old.

Losing a loved one is never easy to experience, and this is especially the case when their passing is the result of a drunk driver. If someone you love was killed in an accident caused by someone else’s reckless actions, it’s important to hold the at-fault person responsible. When you lose a loved one, we know that no amount of money could replace that person’s presence in your life. However, filing a wrongful death suit against a negligent party can ensure that you get justice for your deceased family member and can help you to cope with their loss.
