Orange, CA – Child Among Victims in Two-Vehicle Crash at S Prospect St & E La Veta Ave
Orange, CA (May 31, 2022) – Around 12:12 a.m. on Sunday morning, May 29, a two-vehicle crash took place at an intersection that caused injuries in several victims, including a child.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of South Prospect Street and East La Veta Avenue in the early morning hours. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles sustained severe damages in the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene. Paramedics located a local of four people with injuries at the scene. One person had to be extricated by fire crews, as they were trapped inside their vehicle. One of the victims was a young female child. The injured parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
