Orange, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash with Injuries at Santiago Canyon Rd & Loma Ridge Rd

Orange, CA (June 26, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Orange on Sunday night, June 26.

According to Santa Ana officials, the accident happened around 8:16 p.m. at the intersection of Santiago Canyon Road and Loma Ridge Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene after the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims who remained in the vehicle at the scene were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
