Palmdale, CA – One Killed, Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Palmdale Blvd & 55th St E
Palmdale, CA (August 7, 2022) – On Saturday afternoon, August 6, a multi-vehicle crash was reported in Palmdale that killed one person and injured four others.
According to officials, the accident occurred just before 4:30 p.m. at the Palmdale Blvd and 55th Street East intersection. The accident occurred when a car entered the intersection and collided with two other vehicles.
Emergency personnel was called to the scene. One person involved in the accident suffered significant injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Two people were critically injured and two suffered minor injuries. Paramedics transported three individuals to area hospitals by ambulance and one person was transported by helicopter. The accident caused the area to be shut down for many hours as crews tended to the victims and cleared the accident.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
