Our thoughts are with the other people injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.
Southern California, especially Los Angeles, is one of the most populated regions in the nation and has some of the most congested roadways. Accidents happen every day and are something no one ever expects to happen to them. Accidents are statistically more likely to happen in places with lots of traffic. Therefore, big cities and urban areas see a higher percentage of crashes than rural areas. Accidents also happen more frequently during busier times of the day when more cars are commuting on the road. The morning and afternoon commuting times are more common times for accidents to occur.
When your loved one is killed by another person’s negligence a wrongful death claim can be filed against the person at fault. Two requirements need to be proven for pursuing a wrongful death lawsuit:
Oftentimes the loss of a close family member causes a great burden to the next of kin. These burdens may include medical bills, funeral costs, and lost future earnings of the deceased. Or they may be the mental and emotional distress of losing a loved one and the loss of companionship the family experiences. While no amount of money could ever replace your loved one’s presence in your life, a wrongful death suit can help pay for the bills and other financial pressures that are piling up and help you to be able to cope with the pain of losing a loved one. An experienced wrongful death attorney can walk you through the process of filing a claim and help you handle these important matters.
