Santa Ana, CA – Multi-Car Accident on SR 55 Near Katella Ave Ends in Injuries
Santa Ana, CA (June 10, 2023) – On Friday morning, June 9, many vehicles collided on a roadway in the Santa Ana region, causing injuries to several people.
The California Highway Patrol reports that at around 10:50 a.m., an accident was involved in northbound traffic on State Route 55 at Katella Avenue. For reasons that are yet unclear, at least two vehicles moving in the left lanes of the highway collided.
Paramedics, firemen, and others from the emergency services rushed to the scene to aid the injured. There was a large number of injuries reported by CHP officers; however, it is unclear how many patients were sent to local hospitals for treatment. It is also uncertain what their present circumstances are.
The investigation into the accident continues, but no more details have been made public.
