Santa Ana, CA – Several Drivers Collide on SR 91 at Imperial Hwy, Resulting in Injuries
Santa Ana, CA (July 18, 2023) – On Tuesday, July 18th, at least two vehicles crashed near Santa Ana, California, along State Route 91, resulting in injuries to passengers and an hour-long traffic backup.
The California Highway Patrol reports that at about 9:35 p.m. on State Route 91 at the off-ramp to the Imperial Highway, an incident occurred in the left eastbound lanes of the highway.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene shortly after the event, although it is yet unknown how many persons were injured or to what extent. At the top of the hour, shortly before 9:45 p.m., an ambulance was seen on its way to a nearby hospital.
CHP troopers have not released any more information, and the incident’s circumstances are still being examined.
