Santa Ana, CA – SR 55 Scene of Car Crash, Injuries Near I-405
Santa Ana, CA (April 3, 2023) – On Monday afternoon, April 3, multiple vehicles collided on a roadway in the Santa Ana area, causing injuries to several people.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 55 southbound near Interstate 405. For reasons that are still unclear, at least two cars moving in the left lanes of the highway collided.
Paramedics, firefighters, and others were dispatched to the scene to aid the injured and disadvantaged. At least one person was sent to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their current health status is a mystery.
Many of the southbound lanes on the highway were closed for quite some time. The police made every effort to quickly clear the area.
